This page will show you the difference between the various interpolations schemes. As you will see the basic method (the only one available in non registered version) will not preserve your photo accuracy.

After several expriments on photo the best methods are the sharp version of the biquadric and the sharp version of the bicubic, these methods are only available in registered version.

We use the folowing benchmark image viewed in the software without the resize preview

mire base

Here we have used the basic method (Nearest neighbour), you can see that severals artefacts has apeared in the newsize image. This method is available in all versions. This is the only one available in the non-resgistered version.

Miree Knn

Now we will used advanced interpolation methods. The first is the biliear methods which give the following results. This is better. This method is only available in registered version.

bilinear

The new method used here if the biquadratic. This is the smooth version. This method is only available in registered version.

biquadratic

The next method used here if the biquadratic sharp. This is sharper version. You can si that more details are viewed. This method is only available in registered version.

biquadratic sharp

The next method used is the so-called bicubic in this smooth version. This method is only available in registered version.

bicunic smooth

The last method used is the so-called bicubic in this sharp version. This method is only available in registered version.
